A set of four Italian Majolica salts, in the 16th century Urbino style, each modelled with two seated boys holding a shell, three of the bead bordered wells painted with portraits in profile, the fourth depicting a putti holding a squirrel, the sides decorated with masks and swags, painted in antimony yellow, orange, copper green, cobalt blue and brown manganese, each 21cm wide and 14cm high (4)
